Since my business is named Making Waves Web Solutions, I wanted to post a fun blog about swimming in Hawaii. I love being able to mostly make my own schedule, so that I can swim in the ocean most mornings. I often get to watch the sun come up over the mountain from the water and it always feels like a huge privilege.
I also got to see a pod of spinner dolphins that morning. It was too murky to really see them underwater, so I’m also adding a video from a previous day when the water was much clearer. Seeing dolphins is always a fun treat! Sometimes they stay pretty far away from me and the other swimmers, but often they come almost close enough to touch! We never touch them as we don’t want to make them nervous or introduce bacteria onto their skin from humans. But it definitely feels amazing when a wild dolphin chooses to swim right up to me and make eye contact!
